Glimmering Gardens The GardenKitchener Outdoor Holiday Display Competition

If there’s one thing we know, it’s that GardenKitchener members have an incredible knack for creating beautiful outdoor displays! This season, we’re thrilled to give you a chance to really showcase your creativity and spread some holiday cheer: join our Glimmering Gardens Outdoor Holiday Decor Competition for a shot at winning a $100 gift card from one of our partner businesses!

The Glimmering Gardens Competition is open to all active GardenKitchener members (2024 and 2025). We know many of you will be creating gorgeous outdoor holiday displays for the season anyway, so why not go one step further and show off your talents to the GardenKitchener community? Whether you prefer twinkling lights, lush greenery, or a combination of both, this is literally your moment to shine!

How to Enter

Participating is simple! Fill out the registration form below and upload at least one photo of your outdoor holiday display. During the week of December 16th – 20th, our expert judges will review entries and select two winners: Best Use of Natural Greenery and Best Light Display. We’ll also share a link with members featuring all of the entries, so you can vote for a Member’s Choice winner!

To make it easy for everyone to enjoy, displays must be visible from public property—think balconies, porches, or front yards. And for those who want to add an extra touch, you can also provide your address to be added to our online map, making your display a stop on our festive community tour! (The online map link will also be shared with members the week of December 16th, when voting opens).

Registration: November 18th – December 15th (closes at 10:00 p.m.)
Voting Period: December 16th – December 20th (closes at 10:00 p.m.)
Expert Judging: December 16th – December 20th
Winners Announced: December 23rd, 2024
