Garden Tours

Discover the beauty, creativity, and diversity of Kitchener’s gardens! Every summer, GardenKitchener organizes exclusive Garden Tours for our members, offering a unique opportunity to explore some of Waterloo Region’s most inspiring outdoor spaces. Each tour features a selection of gardens showcasing unique elements such as pollinator-friendly designs, rain gardens, drought-resistant landscapes, and innovative landscaping techniques.

How It Works

• When: Tours take place once a month in June, July, and August, typically on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
• Who Can Attend: GardenKitchener members only (proof of membership is required for entry. Purchase your membership, here!)
• What to Expect: Each tour highlights three to five gardens within a short walk or drive from each other, with garden hosts and GardenKitchener volunteers available to share insights and answer questions. Gardens can be private, or public.
• Weather: Tours run rain or shine, so dress accordingly!

How We Support You

Hosting a tour is simple and rewarding! Our volunteers assist with planning, visitor management, and logistics, so you can focus on sharing your garden. We’ll also promote your tour via our newsletter (1,200+ subscribers) and social media channels (2,200+ Facebook followers, 540+ Instagram followers).
