Join us at Seedy Saturday! Featuring Tanya Olsen from Royal City Nursery.
We will look at ways to incorporate vegetables into your landscape in an unconventional manner and some tips and tricks to getting a great harvest for the whole family! In addition to being able to grow your own food and getting your fingernails dirty, vegetables, herbs and edible berry bushes have a lot to offer. From aesthetics to pollinators, increased biodiversity, and improving overall health and wellness of our environment and our families, this seminar is for anyone who loves to garden or just plain loves to eat.
Tanya Olsen received her bachelors Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Guelph. In addition to being part owner of Royal City Nursery, she is a part time Professor and Program Coordinator at Humber College. Tanya is very active as a business owner, speaker and community volunteer. She comes from a horticulture background.
